The Moringa collection is a collaboration with the Danish jewelry brand L'atelier Michaud Cph. Planting a moringa tree for every piece of jewelry sold from the collection is our concrete mission to help the climate, and what we proudly have built our whole concept around. The collection itself is inspired by the structured seedpods, delicate flowers, and the soft leaves of the moringa tree. Our choice of materials are sustainable and responsibly sourced. The silver is recycled and the natural sapphires used are responsibly sourced and come with a certificate of origin.
The moringa trees are planted by the organization Tree-Nation, through donations from our jewelry sales. The trees are planted in the coastal Bore region in Kenya, Usambara Biodiversity Conservation in Tanzania or the Eden Projects in Madagascar. This not only benefits the climate by offsetting carbon and conserving tropical forests, but also helps the local community since the scope of the projects has expanded beyond tree-planting to include education, women’s rights and the development of alternative livelihoods.
When you buy a piece of Moringa jewelry, you can see where the tree planted is geographically on a map, read more about the project where your tree is planted, and what climate benefits come from your tree, and access your tree certificate, through a link in an email you receive after purchase.
Through this initiative we hope to raise awareness of global warming and caring for our climate, by planting a forest in the name of all our lovely customers.
